Scary Bottle Night was a Huge Success
Thanks to everyone who participated in this year’s scary bottle night. Particular thanks to Andria, Lisa, and Chris for helping with food in the office/kitchen. This event always draws a crowd and Friday was no exception. I think we had upwards of 80 people at one point during the evening. The food got rave reviews especially the Chicken Adobo and Pulled Pork (Thanks Joe!!). Most importantly many bottles turned out to be not so scary! Highlights included a 96 Puligny Montrachet, a three liter of Ken Wright Shea, a Duckhorn, a 01 Cornas, some Dr. Loosen Ice Wine and many many more.
Stay tuned - we will have pictures from the event once our photographers recover from their hangovers.
Look What's Coming . .

Nine times over or by a factor of three,
A special night held annually.
The haunting return of ghostly glee
All scary glass bottles shall answer this plea.
Their stories are many, with conditions quite varied,
From crusty old graves to recently buried.
The dusty dead soldiers all march down the line,
drawn to our long table, knowing their time.
Familiar glass shapes, dark smells, gasping sighs,
We rush the corpse bottles, buzzing (sticking) like flies.
Regardless of origin, their fate is the same,
Heed This Here O’l Warning:
