Scary Bottle Night was a Huge Success

Posted by Tom Mon, 26 Oct 2009 02:47:00 GMT

Thanks to everyone who participated in this year’s scary bottle night. Particular thanks to Andria, Lisa, and Chris for helping with food in the office/kitchen. This event always draws a crowd and Friday was no exception. I think we had upwards of 80 people at one point during the evening. The food got rave reviews especially the Chicken Adobo and Pulled Pork (Thanks Joe!!). Most importantly many bottles turned out to be not so scary! Highlights included a 96 Puligny Montrachet, a three liter of Ken Wright Shea, a Duckhorn, a 01 Cornas, some Dr. Loosen Ice Wine and many many more.
Stay tuned - we will have pictures from the event once our photographers recover from their hangovers.

Tom and Joe: Thank you, once again, for getting me out my apartment-sized life and into a truly magnificent world of wine, terrific people, and excellent food! My friend was equally impressed and might sign-up partly so she can have her birthday party there. You guys cater right? I think she talked to you about it at the party? Do you remember? Anyway, you guys are doing a great job and I really appreciate all that you guys do. Cheers, Molly P

While I don’t by any means consider my life “apartment -sized”, I did have an excellent time at your party and can’t wait for the next one. The suggestion by another client of yours that you try doing them every other month again is a great idea. I’m sure everyone would gladly make a larger contribution.
    So, where are the pictures?
